When clients first come to see me, they have often been struggling for some time and are often unsure about what to do or where to turn. They may have long standing personal or family issues that are once again resurfacing; they may be experiencing depression or anxiety symptoms for the first time, or yet again; or they may be experiencing conflict with the important people in their lives, and instead of getting better as they had hoped – it is getting worse.
The common experience for everyone crossing the threshold to my office and the special experience of therapy I offer, is they do not like the way they are feeling. And that is where I can help.
I will be your guide: My role as a therapist is to be a collaborator, an educator, a mentor, an active listener and a guide. I use the art and science of counselling theories to help you to determine what you need and together we create a plan to get you there.
I work with individual, couples and families and my clients are children, teens and adults. Many of my clients have utilized my services at different times in their lives as different issues have arisen.
